WildAid's Newest Campaign: Pangolins

March of the Pangolins from WildAid on Vimeo.

Native to Africa and Asia, pangolins are often referred to as "scaly anteaters." They're highly secretive, yet have the unfortunate title of world's most-trafficked wild mammal. In China and Vietnam, pangolin scales are coveted as traditional medicine and the meat is considered a delicacy.

WildAid is planning a new campaign to reduce the consumption of pangolins and diminish poaching impacts. You can help by watching and sharing this short video on pangolins. And check out this extraordinary feature in National Geographic by photographer Paul Hilton, on assignment for WildAid to cover the shadowy world of pangolin poaching.
