Ayesha Curry and Michael Mina Join Forces for New Barbecue Pop-up

Attention Dub Nation: The next menu at Michael Mina's constantly rotating Test Kitchen will feature the culinary prowess of none other than Ayesha Curry.

How did we not see this coming? A cookbook author and star of numerous cooking videos, Curry is no stranger in the kitchen, and her friendship with Mina has been well documented (he was even at her and Steph's birthday party).

The new concept will be called International Smoke and focus on the lighter side of barbecue (think grilled and smoked meats) from around the world. Starting June 4, the kitchen will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu for $45, featuring Thai-style barbecue shrimp chili, "Around the World" pork ribs cooked either Korean, al pastor or St. Louis-style, and a "Royal BBQ Platter" with char siu, pastrami, and Merguez sausage among other meats. Sides include a purple Peruvian potato salad, braised mustard greens, and double-dipped onion rings.

// Begins Saturday, June 4, 2120 Greenwich St., San Francisco (Cow Hollow), minatestkitchen.com. Pre-order tickets here.
