Disney in Concert: The Nightmare Before Christmas featuring the music of Danny Elfman (TONIGHT, Friday, & Saturday)




A delightfully quirky score from Danny Elfman drives Tim Burton’s fantastical tale of Jack Skellington’s plot for Halloween Town to take over Christmas—and the hilariously haunting results—all while the SF Symphony plays the score live.

2015 Stern Grove Festival begins June 14


In 2015 Stern Grove Festival presents its 78th Season, every Sunday at 2:00PM, from June 14 - August 16.

Stern Grove Festival Association is a non-profit cultural organization committed to providing the people of the Bay Area with admission-free access to diverse performing arts.

Every year since 1938, the organization presents Stern Grove Festival, an admission-free performing arts series, in Sigmund Stern Grove, a beautiful outdoor amphitheater located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard in San Francisco.

Michael Tilson Thomas Conducts Yuja Wang with the London Symphony Orchestra



The LSO comes to San Francisco to honor its Principal Guest Conductor, Michael Tilson Thomas. MTT conducts Shostakovich’s thrilling Symphony No. 5, and is joined by dynamite young pianist Yuja Wang for Gershwin’s jazzy Piano Concerto in F.
